Raise Awareness + Create Impact
This multidimensional project marries the art of storytelling with community empowerment, focusing on the impactful work of Elman Peace in Somalia. It comprises three parts: a short documentary film, a local filmmaking workshop, and an impact campaign.
1. Documentary Film
At the heart of this initiative is the creation of a short documentary film that captures the essence of Elman Peace's transformative work in Somalia. The narrative—personal, rich in emotion and detail—is told through the perspectives of young individuals whose lives have been profoundly improved by the organization. This film will be an immersive experience that sheds light on the challenges, triumphs, and daily realities faced by these young people and conveys a vivid, memorable image of Elman Peace's mission and impact.
2. Film Workshop
In tandem with the documentary, the project includes a hands-on filmmaking workshop tailored for young local filmmakers in Somalia. This initiative is designed to nurture their storytelling abilities by furthering their skills and equipping them with tools to convey their own narratives. By fostering local talent, the program aims to cultivate a new generation of storytellers who can produce media that articulates their experiences and viewpoints to both local and global audiences. Local stories told by local filmmakers is the mantra.
3. Impact Campaign
A great story has the power to inspire, but it takes the support of a strategic campaign to translate that inspiration into action. Our team is collaborating with Elman Peace and the impact media experts at Creative Visions to design and implement a campaign based on several key objectives.
Shift Power Dynamics | Transform Funding Models | Elevate Elman’s Effective Solutions
Amplify Grassroots Leadership | Challenge the Single Narrative | Fuel Momentum for Policy Change
